Living in the Middle East for the last nine years of my life has certainly opened my eyes to cultures unknown to me prior, while giving me experiences and opportunities I would have never encountered had I stayed in England for my formative years. I thank my lucky stars to have been able to meet the friends I have made along the way, whether the friendships sail into the distance or remain docked at shore, the memories shall always hold a special section of my heart. Moving away is a common occurrence in the Middle East, expats come and go, but my being has stayed constant at my home, since I was nine years old. The realisation that all this is going to change in a few short months, is honestly terrifying, but oh so exciting. I hope the next nine years and more bring me the happiness, and incredible happenings that have taken place in my nearly past...
